Fire Safety Maintenance and AMC Services in Bangladesh

Fire safety maintenance keeps installed systems ready for the one moment they are needed. An annual maintenance contract (AMC) schedules inspection, testing and servicing of fire alarms, hydrants, sprinklers and pumps under NFPA 72 and NFPA 25, records every visit, and includes emergency repair. Without it, systems fail quietly and audits find out first.

We maintain systems we installed and systems we take over from others. Contracts run monthly, half-yearly or yearly, priced by the building's size and the systems in it, and every visit follows a written checklist for each system serviced. Each visit ends with a dated report signed by the engineer, so you can show auditors, insurers and the Fire Service exactly what was checked and what was found. When something fails between visits, call our 24/7 emergency line.

Maintenance (AMC): questions buyers ask

The Fire Prevention and Extinguishing Act 2003 and its 2014 rules expect owners to keep fire protection in working order, and factories also answer to the Labour Act 2006 and to RSC or buyer audits. In practice, auditors ask for dated maintenance and test records, so a system without them is treated as a finding.

Yes. Before taking over, we survey and test the systems and give you a list of existing faults, so the starting condition is on record. Missing drawings or panel access codes are noted, and we work from the manufacturer's documentation for brands such as Bosch, Hochiki or NAFFCO. After that, maintenance runs like any other contract.

Yes, as part of an AMC. Extinguishers are inspected for pressure, seals, damage and service dates under NFPA 10, and refills or hydrostatic tests are scheduled when due. Emergency and exit lights get a function test and a battery duration test. These items fail often, and auditors check them on every walk-round.

The date, the engineer's name, each system and device checked, test results with actual readings such as pump pressures and battery voltages, faults found, what was fixed on the day and what still needs action. The report should be signed and kept on site, because auditors and Fire Service inspectors ask to see it.
