Maintenance (AMC)
Fire Safety Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) in Bangladesh
A fire safety annual maintenance contract puts every fire system in a building on a written schedule of inspection, testing and servicing, with a report after each visit and emergency support in between. We offer monthly, half-yearly or yearly plans, priced by building size and the systems installed, so the contract matches the real risk.

Monthly, half-yearly or yearly: what is the difference?
A monthly plan brings an engineer every month. Each visit covers the routine checks, such as pump runs, panel status, pressure readings and extinguishers, and works through a rotating share of detectors, valves and devices, so the whole system is tested across the year. It suits factories under RSC or buyer audit, high-risk occupancies and sites without their own trained fire staff.
A half-yearly plan brings two thorough visits a year and suits lower-risk commercial or residential buildings whose own staff carry out and record the weekly and monthly checks in between. A yearly plan is one full annual inspection and test of every system, best for smaller buildings with a capable in-house team that keeps those routine records itself.
How is an AMC priced?
There is no fixed price list, because two buildings with the same floor area can carry very different systems. Price is set by the building's size, the systems installed, the number of devices and pumps, the visit frequency, and whether parts and consumables are included. A site survey before the quote lets us count what is actually there.
The written quote lists every system covered, the tasks at each visit, and what is included or charged extra, such as extinguisher refills, replacement detectors or batteries. That makes it easy to compare offers line by line, and it prevents arguments later about whether a repair was in scope.
How can you tell a good AMC from a paper one?
Ask for a sample report before you sign. It should show measured results, like pump pressures, battery voltages and the devices tested that day, not a column of ticks. Faults should be listed with a target date for the fix and followed up at the next visit. A visit that ends in a signature but no measurements protects no one.
How it’s done
How we deliver it, step by step.
- 01
Survey the systems
We list every system, device and pump, and test their condition before the contract starts.
- 02
Agree the schedule
Visit frequency and tasks per system set in writing, following NFPA 25 and NFPA 72.
- 03
Carry out visits
Engineers follow the checklist for each system and fix minor faults on the day.
- 04
Report and follow up
Signed report after each visit; outstanding faults quoted and tracked until closed.
- 05
Annual review
Findings, building changes and visit frequency reviewed once a year, and the contract adjusted.
Price guide
What sets the price.
Every site is different, so we price from a survey, not a rate card. These are the factors that move the number, and the written quote shows each one.
- Building size and number of floors or sheds
- Systems covered and the number of devices in each
- Visit frequency: monthly, half-yearly or yearly
- Parts, consumables and refills included or charged separately
- Number and type of fire pumps, electric or diesel
- Condition of the systems when the contract starts

Frequently asked questions
AMC prices depend on the building's size, the systems covered, the visit frequency and whether parts and consumables are included. A monthly contract for a large factory with pumps, sprinklers and an addressable alarm costs more than a yearly contract for a small office. We quote after a free survey of the systems.
Most garment factories under RSC or buyer audit choose a monthly plan, because fire pumps need regular runs, detectors need testing on a rotation, and auditors expect recent records. A half-yearly plan can work only where trained in-house staff carry out and record the weekly and monthly checks themselves. The survey shows which fits your site.
That depends on the plan you choose. Some clients prefer a labor-only contract and pay for parts as needed; others want common consumables such as detector heads, batteries and gauges included. Either way, the quote lists what is included and what is charged extra, so there are no surprises when a part fails.
Yes. Many sites start monthly while they clear audit findings, then move to half-yearly once the systems are stable and in-house checks are reliable, or the reverse after an expansion. We look at the frequency at each annual review and adjust the contract if your risk or systems have changed.
