Fire Safety Equipment Supply
Fire Extinguisher Supply and Service in Bangladesh
A fire extinguisher is a portable device that lets one trained person put out a small fire before it spreads. Each type suits certain fires: water and foam for paper and fabric, CO₂ for electrical equipment, dry powder for mixed risks and wet chemical for cooking oil. Every building in Bangladesh needs them, placed and serviced to standard.

Scope
What’s included.
Everything below is done by our own engineers and installation team, so one company answers for the result.
- Walk-through to match each area's hazard
- Type, size and position plan for every unit
- Certified extinguishers with serial numbers
- Wall brackets, stands or cabinets as needed
- Location signs and instruction labels
- Inspection tags and a unit-by-unit register
- Refilling and recharge after use
- Hands-on training for floor staff
Which extinguisher goes where?
Match the extinguisher to what will burn. Cutting tables, fabric stores and offices are mostly ordinary combustibles, where water, foam or ABC powder works. Electrical panels, server racks and generator controls need CO₂ or clean agent, which leave no residue and do not conduct. Kitchens with fryers need a wet chemical unit, and fuel stores need foam or powder.
Placement matters as much as type. NFPA 10 sets maximum travel distances and mounting heights so a person can reach one quickly. Extinguishers should sit on exit routes, near hazards but not so close that the fire blocks access, and clearly signed. A unit hidden behind stacked cartons is a common finding on factory audits.
Why is powder not always the right answer?
ABC dry powder is popular because one type covers most risks, and it is cheap. But it makes a dense cloud that cuts visibility in a small room, and the fine powder is corrosive to electronics and hard to clean from machinery. For sewing lines with electronic machines or for control rooms, CO₂ or foam is often a better first choice.
We size the mix of types to the floor, not to a single standard order. A typical production floor might combine foam or water units with CO₂ near panels, which makes the right extinguisher easy to grab and avoids unnecessary damage after a small fire.
What does servicing actually involve?
NFPA 10 sets three layers. A monthly visual check by your staff confirms each unit is in place, charged and undamaged. A yearly maintenance by a technician checks the mechanism, seals and agent. Periodic hydrostatic testing proves the cylinder can still hold pressure, at intervals that depend on the type, for example every five years for CO₂ and water units.
Dry powder stored-pressure units also need an internal examination at a set interval, longer than for CO₂, when the powder is emptied and replaced. We keep the dates for every unit in the register and tell you in advance which ones are due, so nothing lapses between audits and units rotate without leaving gaps on the floor.
How it’s done
How we deliver it, step by step.
- 01
Hazard walk-through
We walk each floor and note materials, electrical risks, kitchens and fuel stores.
- 02
Placement plan
We mark type, size and position for every unit on your floor plan.
- 03
Supply and mount
We deliver certified units, mount them at the right height and fix signs.
- 04
Tag and register
Each extinguisher gets a tag and a line in the register, with serial and service dates.
- 05
Train and service
Floor staff practice with live units, and we return for scheduled servicing.
Price guide
What sets the price.
Every site is different, so we price from a survey, not a rate card. These are the factors that move the number, and the written quote shows each one.
- Number of units and mix of types
- Extinguisher size and capacity
- Certification level and brand
- Brackets, stands, cabinets and signage
- Training sessions and staff numbers
- Ongoing service, refill and hydrostatic testing

Frequently asked questions
The number comes from the floor area, the hazard level in each area and the travel distance limits in NFPA 10, together with your fire safety plan. Separate hazards such as panels, kitchens and fuel stores need their own units. We count them from a walk-through and mark each position on the plan.
Refill after any use, even a short burst, and whenever an inspection finds low pressure, low weight or a broken seal. Stored-pressure units are also emptied and refilled during their periodic internal maintenance. There is no single date for every extinguisher, so the service register tracks each unit.
ABC powder covers ordinary combustibles, flammable liquids and electrical fires, but leaves a messy, corrosive residue. CO₂ is suited to electrical equipment and flammable liquids, leaves no residue, but is less effective on deep-seated fabric or paper fires and should not be used in a small closed room with people in it.
They do not have a simple expiry date, but they have a service life governed by inspection and testing. A unit that fails its hydrostatic test, shows corrosion or damage, or is no longer supported for parts must be taken out of service. Some older types are no longer acceptable at all.
